Privacy
Delete your data.
You can ask Unresourced to delete your data at any time, including anything that came from Facebook or Instagram when you signed in with Meta or connected an Instagram account. Here is how to ask, what we delete, and how long it takes.
How to ask
Use whichever is easiest. Each one reaches the same team.
- Email us. Write to privacy@unresourced.com with the subject "Delete my data", from the email address on your account. Tell us your handle if you have one.
- Ask in the app. Open Support, choose "Delete my data", and send. If you are signed in, your account details are filled in for you.
- From Facebook. In Facebook, go to Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites. Find Unresourced, choose Remove, and ask for your data to be deleted. Meta sends us the request automatically.
- From Instagram. In Instagram, go to Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. Find Unresourced and choose Remove. This ends our access; to have your stored data deleted as well, use the Facebook steps above or email us.
What we delete
- Facebook and Instagram data from Meta login: your Facebook user ID, the access tokens we were given, your connected Instagram account details, linked ad accounts, and any profile and insights data we stored from them.
- Your Unresourced account: your profile, contact details, social handles, photos, applications, and the forms you sent us.
- Sign-in data: your password record and active sessions, so the account can no longer be used.
What we may have to keep
Records we are required by law to keep, such as payment and tax records, are kept only as long as the law requires and are not used for anything else. Content you already delivered to a brand stays with that brand under the usage terms you agreed to; we can put you in touch with them.
How long it takes
We complete every deletion request within 30 days, and usually much sooner. Data from Meta login is removed as soon as Meta's request reaches us. We confirm by email once your data is deleted. If we need to check that the request really came from you, we will ask by email first.
Your confirmation code
When you ask for deletion from Facebook, Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link back to this page. Keep the code: it is your reference for the request. Enter it below to see its status, or quote it if you email us.
